NCUA Insured

Each member's account is insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration, a U.S. Government Agency. IRAs are insured up to $250,000.

It's important to know that accounts at CFCU are insured up to $250,000 through the National Credit Union Administration, a federal agency that administers the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF). Your IRAs are insured separately up to $250,000. The NCUA insurance is backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government. There are ways you can structure your accounts to obtain more than the maximum insurance protection. Contact your CFCU office for details.
